Our Journey (1991–2025)

Our History

TKP Medical Assistance has been a pioneer in cross-border medical repatriation in China and the Greater Bay Area, leading the industry for 28 years from 1991 to 2025. Our journey began in 1991 when we successfully completed China’s first ambulance transfer from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, setting a historic precedent in international patient movement and establishing a foundation for safe and efficient cross-border medical transport that continues to this day.

2025

“Orient Air Medical Association” acquired by a central SOE, marking strategic recognition. Launched the Nansha Global Medical Transfer Center.

2024

The Songkang Medical Emergency Station was officially established to enhance regional emergency response capacity.

2020-2022

Amid pandemic lockdowns, we successfully carried out multiple domestic and international medical transfers, providing critical medical repatriation support especially for enterprises operating along the Belt and Road Initiative.

2017

The Sanya “Orient Air Medical Association”is now officially operational, advancing the implementation of the Hainan Offshore Rescue Plan and the Tibet Plateau Evacuation Initiative.

2015

Focusing on high-speed rail transport for critically ill pediatric patients aged 0–14, we serve as a key supplementary force to the “Cloud Jump Initiative” for tiered referral and treatment.

2001

Independent from the public emergency system, we pioneered stretcher services on commercial flights, medical charter flights, and integrated ground-to-air transfers, establishing partnerships with IPA, International SOS, Allianz, and others.

1997

The first cross-border patient transfer was successfully completed via direct ground ambulance from the Mainland to Hong Kong.

1991

Establishing a Public-Sector Air Rescue Center and Launching a Guangdong–Hong Kong Cross-Border Emergency Corridor in Collaboration with AEA (Hong Kong).
